Attalla McDonald’s hosts Christmas cheer

Teresa Parker, Manager of the Attalla McDonald’s in the Birmingham Co-op, hosted some Christmas cheer Tuesday night, December 9, with a visit from Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus and gifts for the children in attendance.

Max Cooper and Jim Black, owner of the Attalla McDonald’s, along with Jim’s wife Cathy, decided they wanted to kick-off the Christmas season early at McDonald’s as a thank you to their customers and purchased Barbie’s, hot wheels, race cars, baby dolls and more for over 150 children.

“McDonald’s is proud to be locally owned and operated.  The Golden Arches represents a local business partner that happens to be a part of a national chain.  We believe that we are your neighborhood restaurant – not just a restaurant in your neighborhood.  As such, we strive to be a good neighbor and a positive influence in our community. Beyond supporting our schools and other quality community efforts, we are also proud to be a partner with the Ronald McDonald House as they provide a home away from home with families in need, “ Black commented.
