Cardinals finish second at conference tennis tournament

The Gadsden State men’s tennis team finished second at the Alabama Community College Conference Region 22 Tournament on Apr. 16-17 in Decatur. Marion Military finished first with 13 points, followed by GSCC with 10 points and Faulkner State with four. The Cardinals captured individual championships at No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles, as well as a championship in No.2 doubles. Gadsden State lost in the No. 3 singles and No. 3 doubles finals. Earning All-Conference honors for the Cardinals were Kevin Triplett at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles, Jacob McAllister at No. 2 doubles, Chris Millsap at No. 6 singles and Paul Taylor at No. 4 singles.
