Gaston grad participates in YMCA conference

2013 Gaston High School graduate Amy Sims served as Alabama’s round table discussion leader at the 2013 YMCA Conference on National Affairs, which concluded July 4. Each summer, select students from youth government programs throughout the nation attend the conference at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, N.C.

The daughter of Matt and Rena Sims, Amy will be a freshman this fall at Jacksonville State University.
