Grace Anne Rose scored 21 points and Madison Shaw added 16 in Southside’s 54-48 victory over Talladega on Thursday, Nov. 30. Rose grabbed seven rebounds, followed by Shaw with six and Sarakate Yancey with five. Yancey also forced four turnovers and distributed three assists.

Gadsden City lost to Guntersville, 40-33, on Thursday, Nov. 30. Karleigh Sheffield shot 4 for 5 at the three-point line for a team-high 12 points. Naomi Wise finished with six points and 12 rebounds, while Destiny Whiteside contributed five points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Grace Anne Rose’s double-double of 26 points and 10 points sparked Southside to a 57-23 victory over Glencoe on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Rose also forced four turnovers and had four pass deflections. Madison Shaw added nine points for the Lady Panthers (4-1), while Emma Rogers chipped in eight and Hannah Wescott seven. Sarakate Yancey grabbed six rebounds, while Bailey Houston pulled down five. Yancey also had three assists.

Westbrook Christian improved to 6-1 on the season with a 48-35 win over Gaston on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Addison Hammontree paced the Lady Warriors with 14 points, followed by Keana Jones and Landri Lipscomb with 10 each. Hammontree and Lipscomb each cleared eight rebounds, while Lipscomb also had three blocks.

Gadsden City came up short to A.H. Parker, 45-32, on Tuesday, Nov. 28 in Birmingham. Destiny Whiteside finished with 18 points and five rebounds for the Lady Titans. Madison Tinker scored eight points, while Naomi Wise grabbed eight rebounds.

Gadsden City fell to Hartselle, 46-40, on Nov. 21. Destiny Whiteside scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Lady Titans.

Gadsden City lost to Hazel Green, 66-27 on Nov. 22. Destiny Whiteside paced the Lady Titans with 14 points, while Naomi Wise pulled down seven rebounds.

Sardis kicked off its season at 4-1. On Nov. 13, Kaylen Wallace finished with 26 points, 11 steals, eight rebounds and eight deflections in the Lady Lions’ 61-37 victory over Westbrook Christian. Adriana Pottier had a double-double of 13 points and 10 steals, while Mia Fowler had 12 steals and eight deflections. Jordyn Knight chipped in eight points, while Jolie Taylor contributed six.
On Nov. 14, Sardis fell to Albertville, 53-24. Vada Willmore scored 13 points, while Wallace added 11.
On Nov. 16, Willmore finished two steals shy of a triple-double with 15 points, 12 rebounds and eight steals in a 64-61 win over Sylvania. Adriana Pottier scored 19 points, followed by Ava Knight with 12 points and six steals and Wallace with points and 12 rebounds.
On Nov. 21, the Lady Lions blasted Hayden, 70-18, at the Supreme Courts Tournament in Guntersville. Knight paced Sardis with 13 points, followed by Grace Harris with 12, Pottier with 10 and Wallace and Sidney Rutledge with eight each.
