Prayer gathering announced for Friday, July 8

Alabama Representative Mack Butler announced on Facebook that a prayer gathering will be held at Rainbow City Hall tonight, July 8 at 7:45 p.m to show support for law enforcement in the wake of the tragedy in Dallas, in which five police officers lost their lives.

Butler asked the public to come together to pray and sing, stating that all first responders will be considered honored guests.

“We hope to send a message from Northeast Alabama that will reverberate across the nation,” Butler said on Facebook.

Residents are encouraged to attend to event at Rainbow City Hall tonight, July 8 at 7:45 p.m.
