Young Leaders Society hosts fish fry/concert

United Way of Etowah County’s Young Leaders Society’s Fish Fry and concert will be August 9 from 6-11 p.m. at the Mort Glosser Amphitheater.

Gary Linam will perform at 6 p.m., followed by Rusty Ancel at 7 p.m. Headliner band, Trotline, will take the stage at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Keystone Bank, The Chamber or the United Way office. Catering will be provided by The Fish Market. Dinner includes catfish or chicken fingers, french fries, coleslaw, hush puppies and a drink. Dinner will be served from 6-8 p.m.  Tickets to the Trotline concert only will be sold at the door for $10, cash only.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Thirteenth Place, the YLS scholarship and Gadsden Public Library Reading Program. YLS is a United Way program specifically for a new generation of young leaders who want to make a difference in their community.

Members have exclusive opportunities to network with experienced business leaders, volunteer for community projects, and develop key leadership skills.
