Southside Athletics Foundation presents ‘Praise Daze’ June 15

The Southside Athletics Foundation is bringing several Christian performers to Southside June 15 for a music and praise festival.

Praise Daze is slated for June 15. Gates at the Southside High School Stadium will open at 11 a.m. for an afternoon and evening to music including band Fireflight, True Story, After the Day, Primative Quartet and Humble Tip. The show will also feature Ashley Cummings, Chette Williams, Surean, Jeremiah Castille and Bro. Scott Harris, pastor of Southside Baptist Church.

All Praise Daze events will be at Southside Stadium/ The last act will start at 7 p.m.

Wes Davis of the Southside Athletics Foundation said the organization has worked with the staff and members at Southside Baptist for a number of events. The church, he said, is reaching out to young people in the community, in Southside High school and beyond.

The performers and the event is geared toward young people, and will serve as a fundraiser for the Southside Athletics Foundation. Davis said the foundations supports all Alabama High School Athletic Association sanctioned sports at SHS and Rainbow Middle School, from football to girls golf.

Tickets may be purchased online at safpanthers.org.

Tickets are $10, general admission and for online purchases there is a $2 processing fee. Group admission tickets are $8.

Parking is free at Southside High School with a shuttle to the stadium. The school is located at 2361 School Drive. Parking at the stadium will be $10.
